This overnight program takes you to finest places  of Nuuksio National. Paddle a canoe, hike in old forests and swim in a clean water forest lakes. We sleep outdoors in a tent or under the stars.  Wake up to the song of the birds and breathe in the fresh air of the forest.

We start afternoon from Helsinki, where our guide picks you up with a mini bus to Nuuksio National park. In Nuuksio we start our trip with canoeing on wilderness lakes  to a forest campsite, which will be our base camp on our stay. After exploring the area and its nature we set up set up the tents or other shelter for the night and start preparing evening meal on campfire (weather permitting).

After the evening meal it’s good moment to just relax or maybe go for a easy nature walk nearby. Long days of Finnish summer give light almost around the clock. Warm sleeping bags and sweet dreams are waiting after day full of activities in the and fresh air away from city hassle.

Would you like to start the day with morning swim in the forest lake or just sit and relax in the nature. After simple but tasty forest breakfast it is time to explore Nuuksio National Park further. How about berry or mushroom picking trip or wilderness canoeing training with Indian canoes. After the lunch it is time to pack our camp for return canoeing trip.

The program includes:

• Return transportation from Helsinki Metropolitan Area
• Guidance and guide’s services
• Rent of camping equipment (tents, sleeping bags, mattresses)
• All required canoeing equipment (Indian canoes, paddle, floating vest, dry bags)
• Wilderness meals; evening meal, breakfast, lunch

Duration of the program is ca. 22 hours (including transportation). The program is organized for groups or families on request. Typical group size is 1-8 persons.
