Mika is very knowledgeable and easygoing. Park was just 40 minutes away from Helsinki and it is absolutely worth visiting. Canoes were heavy to carry but the experience was well worth it. We stopped at the firepit to drink lingonberry compote Mika made and taste Finnish pastry, that was a very nice experience. It was also a perfect level of difficulty, in that I (an experienced hiker) and my boyfriend (not much of a hiker at all and also who wears a leg brace due to a disability) were both able to enjoy it. I did not feel like it was too easy, and he did not think it was too hard! The park is beautiful and quiet, and the foraging was a lot of fun (as was the end of the hike when we ate what we had found, along with Finnish pastries and coffee that Olli brought).
