Summertime you can walk in the forest, swim in the lake, row a boat and try ankle fishing. Berry and mushroom season begins in July and lasts till the snow comes (October-December). In the forest, you can pick delicious and healthy blueberries and lingonberries. For a bit speedier adventure, you can also rent mountain bikes or kick-bikes for a ride on small sandy roads.
Wintertime you can ride a kicksled and especially children love sledding (you can rent kicksleds and sleds for the kids are available for no extra charge). You can also rent snowshoes for a nice walk in the forest or on the lake. If you are brave enough to try ice swimming you can make a hole in the ice and make a dip in the lake from the warm sauna. You can also try ice-fishing – we will tell you when the ice is safe to walk on.
After the activities, year-round, you can relax in the sauna, a foot bath and enjoy a campfire by the cottage or fireplace in the cottage.
